The Media Planner (Digital) is responsible for facilitating media planning and strategy while maintaining excellent client and supplier relationships.
The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.
Hybrid - 3x a Week Onsite at Ortigas Office
1. CAMPAIGN BRIEFING
• Translating client objectives into actionable media strategies that align with the overall marketing plan.
• Collaborating with clients, ad ops, or internal stakeholders to understand campaign goals, target audience, budget, and timeline.
2. MEDIA PLANNING AND STRATEGY
• Developing media plans that outline the recommended media channels, flight dates, budget allocation.
• Evaluating various digital media channels and platforms to determine the most suitable options for reaching the target audience and achieving campaign objectives.
• Optimizing media budgets to ensure efficient and effective use of resources.
• Providing guidance on media-specific requirements, formats, and recommendations for optimizing creative assets.
• Confidently present media strategy and measurement plans to clients and internal stakeholders.
3. DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING
• Collaboration with ad ops team in crafting actionable insights in report creation resulting in timely optimizations to maximization of campaign performance.
• Providing insights and recommendations on performance to identify the effectiveness of the campaign and identifying opportunities for future optimization.
• Confidently present data and optimization strategies to clients and internal stakeholders if and when required.
4. PROJECT MANAGEMENT & RELATIONSHIP BUILDING
• Working closely with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution and deliverables.
• Maintaining open communication channels, addressing client concerns, and providing strategic guidance throughout the campaign lifecycle.
5. AD TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
• Regularly contribute to media best practices, new executions, and campaign processes.
• Staying abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new media opportunities.
• Continuously learning and evaluating innovative media approaches to enhance campaign strategies and differentiate clients from competitors.
