Short Introduction

The Senior Media Buyer (Digital) is responsible for facilitating total ad operations from implementation, optimization and reporting of campaign results.

The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. CAMPAIGN IMPLEMENTATION & MANAGEMENT
   • Ensure successful execution and optimization of the performance marketing strategy with zero errors on implementation.
   • End-to-end management of performance marketing activity across paid channels.
   • Monitor campaign delivery to ensure that key performance metrics are attained and align with committed KPIs.

2. TRACKING & ATTRIBUTION
   • Generate and implement UTM tags or tracking pixels on the client's website or app to track ad impressions, clicks, conversions, and other relevant metrics.
   • Ensure accurate conversion tracking and attribution.

3. DATA ANALYSIS & REPORTING
   • Track, compile, and report on key performance indicators of media activity in collaboration with the Analytics team to create weekly/monthly reports.
   • Identify areas for improvement and optimization to maximize campaign performance and meet client objectives.
   • Provide insights and recommendations on performance to identify the effectiveness of the campaign and opportunities for future optimization.
   • Confidently present data and optimization strategies to clients and internal stakeholders if and when required.

4. QUALITY ASSURANCE
   • Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure that implemented elements are functioning properly and adhering to industry standards.
   • Troubleshoot any issues related to ad rendering or functionality.
   • Identify and resolve technical issues that may arise during the campaign lifecycle (disapprovals, discrepancies in ad tracking, and resolving all other operational challenges).

5. AD TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT
   • Regularly contribute to media best practices, new executions, and campaign processes.
   • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and new media opportunities.
   • Continuously learn and evaluate innovative media approaches to enhance campaign strategies and differentiate clients from competitors.

  • Has Expertise in working with paid media tools such as Google Ads, META Business Tools, TikTok Ads, etc.
  • Has strong analytical skills and can execute through a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
  • Has Familiarity in using other ad ops and data visualization tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Tableau, Looker Studio, etc.
  • Is Excellent with numbers and can clearly analyze, draw insights and present big data to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Has the ability to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Is able to demonstrate success in managing large clients/big budget campaigns.
  • Is Excellent with project management and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Has Effective negotiation skills and resource management.
  • Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Has Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting thoughts, ideas, and data
  • Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business, Statistics, Economics or any related field is preferred but not a must.
  • At least 2-5 years of experience in planning / buying or related fields or a proven track record in a similar position, working with a team in a similar or adjacent industry.
  • Experience working with paid media tools such as Google Ads, META Business Tools, TikTok Ads, etc.
  • Eager to learn, adaptable, and have a strong interest in the advertising/media industry.
  • Eloquent and fluent in English in both speaking and in writing.
