Short Introduction

The Operations Supervisor will oversee the implementation of changes and new procedures derived from comprehensive reviews and analyses of our current operations, processes, and procedures, including data analytics, to enhance productivity levels. Additionally, this role will provide support for tool supervision and minimal team supervision

The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.

Hybrid - 3x a Week Onsite at Ortigas Office

Duties and Responsibilities

1.) Data Analysis and Optimization

  • Conduct in-depth analyses of key metrics and domains to assess performance across various units, ensuring data-driven decision-making.
  • Translate data insights into actionable strategies, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
  • Implement data-driven solutions to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall performance.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive data reporting systems and dashboards, facilitating easy access to crucial performance indicators.
 

2.) Process Improvement

  • Lead process improvement initiatives rooted in LEAN methodologies, driving operational excellence.
  • Conduct rigorous audits of operational data for each unit/individual to identify areas for improvement and enhance utilization rates, capacity levels, time allocation, and productivity.
  • Spearhead the development of innovative processes and procedures, employing techniques such as process mapping, workflow documentation, employee interviews, and job shadowing.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and teams to identify opportunities for process enhancement, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
 

3.)Tool Management and Supervision

  • Manage tools and platforms used for data gathering, continuously evaluating their performance and functionality.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and solutions to enhance data collection, analysis capabilities, and overall productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with Tech and Prod developers to ensure the seamless integration, functionality, and maintenance of data tools and platforms, optimizing their contribution to operational excellence.
 

4.) Team Supervision

  • Provide essential support and guidance to team members, facilitating their roles in achieving operational objectives and ensuring adherence to established processes and procedures.

  • Proficiency in conducting in-depth data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies for process improvement.
  • Proficiency in documenting processes, maintaining data reporting systems, and generating comprehensive reports to track and report on process enhancements and performance metrics.
  • Strong leadership in driving process improvement initiatives, including a solid understanding of LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement principles.
  • Has the ability to manage and oversee multifaceted projects, ensuring their successful execution from initiation to completion.
  • Has Effective negotiation skills and resource management.
  • Has Planning and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Has Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting thoughts, ideas, and data
  • Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Additional courses or training in leadership and management can be beneficial.
  • At least 4  years of experience in data analytics, report preparations and insighting or a proven track record in a similar position, working with a team in a similar or adjacent industry.
  • Team management experience with a successful track record.
  • Proficiency in Lean Six Sigma and process improvement methodologies.
  • With Lean Six Sigma Professional Green Belt Certificate is preferred and advantageous.
  • Proven data analysis skills and the ability to use data for operational enhancements.
  • Strong project management and leadership abilities.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
