Short Introduction

The JUNIOR COPYWRITER is responsible for creating engaging and persuasive written content for various marketing materials. They work closely with the marketing team to develop compelling messaging that resonates with the target audience.

 

The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) Content Creation

  • Write and edit copy for various marketing materials including websites, emails, social media, and advertisements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that visual elements and copy complement each other effectively.

2.) Research and Strategy

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience to inform content strategies.
  • Develop creative concepts and messaging strategies that align with marketing goals.

3.) Editing and Proofreading

  • Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.
  • Proofread materials to identify and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

4.) Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with the marketing team to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on messaging and goals.

5.) Creativity and Innovation

  • Generate creative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in copywriting.

  • Has Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in copywriting or a proven track record in a similar position.
