Short Introduction

The Senior Account Manager will independently direct and lead day-to-day Agency business efforts in behalf of the Client's business on identified key accounts to grow and sustain NuWorks' business, with operational excellence, while training and coaching at least one (1) Junior Account Manager or one (1) Account Manager for select accounts or projects if needed.

The role stays up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices and is able to identify new opportunities and strategies for improving overall performance as well as growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND RELATIONSHIP

  • Establish good working relations with all levels, but most especially senior-level Clients in order to sustain and grow the accounts assigned to the Business Unit
  • Ensure that the day-to-day Agency business efforts in behalf of Clients' business are well directed and coordinated to meet/ exceed the Clients KPIs


2. ACCOUNT / BRAND / PROJECT MANAGEMENT

  • Lead the internal team by ensuring all projects and day-to-day deliverables are done excellently, effectively, on-time, and within Client budget
  • Ability to lead multiple complex project types simultaneously and successfully with operational excellence
  • Ability to give POV and consultation to both internal and external teams -- along with the ability to craft the right approach and use the proper tools and resources
  • Lead new business acquisition until closing, develop and manage cost estimates to help reach the business targets



3. PROCESS IMPROVEMENT & LOAD TRACKING

  • Lead the Business Unit and initiate in facilitating and contributing to internal and external improvements in order to optimize processes and output.


4. LEADERSHIP TRAINING

  • Train, coach and develop at least one (1) Junior Account Manager or Account Manager effectively.


5. BUSINESS ACUMEN

  • Keep abreast with advertising industry trends and develop business acumen in order to be proactive in actualizing business opportunities (increased scope, internal growth)
  • Keep up-to-date with trends related to the Client's categories and industries


6. INTERPERSONAL

  • Establish and build rapport with the team (BU)
  • Get to know CSD teammates and Shared Services - build connections with the rest of NW through participating in different employee engagement and L&D activities.

  • Has expert knowledge with industry standards and regulating bodies (ASC, DTI, FDA, etc).
  • Has interest and aptitude for creative business, marketing solutions, and business transformation.
  • Has the ability to seek out and evaluate project opportunities, set proper customer expectations, and handle negotiations.
  • Has knowledge and is well-versed in a wide range of project types, from interactive to out-of-home, content production, social platforms, and other innovations made by the company.
  • Demonstrates Self-motivation / Ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrates Leadership Capability.
  • Is effective in/with oral and written communication and presentation, interpersonal skills
  • Has Analytical, Strategic thinking and influencing skills- have the ability to synthesize, develop, and present clear and concise recommendations.
  • Has general knowledge of all aspects of Clients’ business and the ability to apply that knowledge to meaningful insights, counsel, and planning for the Clients’ business and Agency assignments.
  • Has proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (at least Word, Powerpoint, Excel) and /or iWork Suite (at least keynote, pages, numbers)

 

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, business, communication, marketing, PR, and/or other related courses
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in Client servicing or a proven track record in a similar position, working with a team in a studio, Agency or creative solutions supplier and/or brand management
  • Experience working with Clients and stakeholders to develop and negotiate directives, project scopes, and cost estimates
  • At least (one) 1 year of experience handling digital marketing / digital-related projects
  • Has leadership skills and proven expertise in independently getting things done.
  • Should have had experience training downlines.
